Vocational Guidance Service for offenders and ex-offenders primarily
focused on providing job readiness training and placement services for offenders re-entering
the workforce and society. With proper pre-employment training and long-term job development
services and support, it will help offenders to stay on the job long upon release and in turn
will facilitate their re-integration and rehabilitation. With this aim in mind, SCORE set up
the Vocational Guidance Unit for offenders in 2005. The main objective of the Vocational
Guidance Unit is to guide offenders on how to secure, maintain and progress in their jobs
and plan their career.
