Testimony:
[Extracted from TODAY Newspaper dated 27 Sept 2004] Ms Sovinder Kaur,
a social worker with SANA shared that one of her most memorable experiences was
when she got together a group of ex-inmates to form a netball team. She said:
"I accepted the challenge as I felt it would be fun. At the same time, I would
be able to get the message across that there was more to life than just drugs.
Sure enough, when I met the girls, they were all just as excited to learn,
contribute and participate." And this has proved to be most rewarding for Ms
Kaur and she hopes that more people can share her joy. She said: "I'm sure that
there are many talented people out there who want to help, but do not know how.
Just feel free to call the respective organizations to render your talents."
