Besides job specific skills, offenders are also trained in generic employability skills like IT skills, Supervisory skills, QC & Facilitation Training, etc. These skills are easily transferable to the employment settings of the outside world, as they can be applied to a variety of jobs. This would enable offenders to be competitive in an ever-changing labour market of the new economy.
