Food manufacturing and production is one of SCORE's core industries. It offers inmates a broad range of skills and employment opportunities and it is one that cannot be easily hollowed out from the local economy. To support the growth of this core industry in the Prisons, SCORE manages a purpose built food hub in Cluster A of the Changi Prison Complex. The food hub comprises of SCORE Bakery and 4 workshops that are leased to private companies. SCORE Bakery manufactures white and wholemeal sandwich loaves, buns and other artisan products. Together with NTUC Foodfare Cooperative, SCORE also manages a central kitchen facility that is presently supplying meals to 8,000 inmates daily.

 

SCORE Catering Services provides a delectable choice of Halal-certified buffet suitable for any occasion. We are able to bring you affordable prices for a large variety dishes whipped up by our inmates. Our aim is to give the inmates a 2nd chance by training them in a skill, so that they may contribute back to society upon released.
