Employing
ex-offenders
Recruit ready-to-work candidates
One of the important factors for successful reintegration is work. To help offenders to be gainfully employed, SCORE has worked closely with many employers for many years and we understand the challenges in finding trained and motivated employees.
We work closely with employers to understand their manpower needs to ensure a meaningful and win-win partnership.
Our services
- Training and preparation of candidates
Through collaboration with WDA and NTUC, training conducted for inmates are nationally accredited and not different from what other Singaporeans are going through.
- Screening and Job-matching
We screen and shortlist candidates based on your requirements and their skills set and work experience
- Conduct of placement exercises inside Prisons
Each placement exercise allows you to interview up to 10 candidates in one session
- Case management services to promote retention
Case managers assigned to each successful candidate will provide support for clients and employers through site visits and telephone calls for 6 months.
Bridges of Hope
Through our programmes and services, we have seen many offenders change their lives for the better. For some, their resolve to upgrade themselves and reintegrate into workforce has been recognized at national level.
Incorporate social responsibility into your business model today!
Building a safer and more compassionate Singapore
By offering offenders job opportunities, you are actually reducing their chance of re-offending. And the positive impact employers like you are making is not limited to just an individual, but it also helps his family and loved ones. It is a means to incorporate social responsibility into your business model.
Appreciation and recognition
We recognize employers as partners in the rehabilitation of offenders. Supportive employers are recognized through awards and invitations to Yellow Ribbon Project events.
