Our Vision

We build bridges of hope
for offenders and their families.

We contribute to a safer community
by successfully reintegrating offenders.

We exemplify and lead in creating
a more compassionate society that offers second chances.

As the lead aftercare agency, and in support of CARE Network, SCORE wants to build bridges of hope, by establishing links between incare and aftercare, between imprisonment and the society, and between offenders and their families. SCORE also wants to close existing gaps by ensuring the development of aftercare infrastructure and services, and to integrate these services provided by various agencies and community bodies. Incarceration impacts the families of inmates as well. These bridges of hope will not only help the offenders, but will also seek to strengthen and support their families.

By successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating offenders and strengthening their families, SCORE helps to lower crime rates and contribute to a safer Singapore.

SCORE will be a leading organisation in helping to create a more compassionate society. The new Singapore is one that is compassionate and offers second chances. It is one that believes in equal opportunities for everyone, and where every Singaporean matters.

Our Mission

We rehabilitate and help
reintegrate offenders to become responsible
and contributing members of society.

SCORE rehabilitates offenders through work programmes and vocational training, instilling in them strong work ethics and providing the necessary work experience and job skills. All these will be done in a positive and conducive environment. These programmes are designed to develop and maximise their potential.

We also want to help reformed individuals return and reintegrate into the community. While rehabilitative involves active participation on the part of the offenders, reintegration involves the help of their families and society.

Our aim is for the reformed individuals to be responsible leaders of their own lives, and contributing members to the well being of society.
