Here at SCORE we rebuild lives of ex-offenders by
SCORE equips offenders with relevant training to enhance their employability and facilitate work reintegration. Training courses are offered in 2 broad areas of vocational and employability skills training.
SCORE conducts profiling and job coaching to better prepare offenders for reintegration back to the workforce. SCORE invites interested employers to attend Placement Exercises with offenders before hiring.
To help offenders start and stay on the job, SCORE Job Coaches are assigned to work with employers to follow up on employment matters for a period of up to 12 months.
Employers’ support for ex-offenders in the workforce is key to enhancing inmates’ employability. SCORE takes a targeted engagement approach to reach out to employers who are receptive to offering offenders jobs when they are released.
